Change to toilet access for the public

From 20th April 2026.

Centre toilets will be open to the public during office hours only. This is usually from 8am to 4pm or 5pm, a notice will be put up each day with the closing time.

Why the change?

Hornsey Vale Community Association have been happy to offer our facilities to the public for the centre opening hours each day, trusting our local community and Stationer’s Park users to treat the centre with respect. We are very disappointed to share that the centre has recently had repeated bouts of minor vandalism, not restricted to but especially concentrated around the toilets.

This has recently led to a serious blockage that had to be resolved by a drain specialist and cost the charity hundreds of pounds.

We have therefore decided to take immediate action to deter this antisocial behaviour by restricting public access to the toilets to office hours only. This will be a temporary measure until a long term solution is in place.
