Do you rave about the centre to your family and friends? Please bring that enthusiasm online too!

Online reviews have become a critical tool for community organisations and small businesses alike, particularly in the last year. The coronavirus pandemic restricted all of our movements — whether travelling to the high street, or to a favourite tourist destination. That’s hurt the ability of local shops and community centres to attract attention through usual footfall and word of mouth. At the same time, these restrictions, and the ways we have had to adapt, have made local initiatives more valued than ever. “Local businesses have become important to many communities, driven in part by greater confidence in their quality and safety,” McKinsey wrote in a recent report.

Hornsey Vale Community Centre would love your support to boost our digital presence. Please consider writing us a review on Google by searching for the Centre and adding your comments, or on our Facebook page. These reviews will help curious residents learn more about our values, standards, regular classes, and the range of opportunities we have for people to connect and be engaged.

They are also wonderfully motivating to read for the centre’s staff and much-valued volunteers. “This is a very historic yet humble place, reflecting the origins of the area,” one person wrote on Google. “Lovely little community centre where so much goes on!” Spread the word, and the good vibes, by submitting your review today!
