Community Soup Café

Our Community Soup Cafe, launched in October 2023, runs every Monday in term time.
We serve home-made soup using (mostly) surplus veggies supplied by our friends at The Felix Project, cooked by volunteers Sally and Bernadette, and served by our volunteers.
The Small Hall is open each Monday from 11.30am to 2pm and we serve soup from 12pm-1.30pm.
We hope to create a relaxed space to meet new friends, join in fun activities and tell us what you would like to see and do at Hornsey Vale. We have a growing collection of games (Jenga anyone?!), art supplies for guided creative drawing, enthusiastic singers…
Cafe runs term time only.
Donations gratefully appreciated: our suggested donation is £2 per person. Look our for the silver piggy bank or see Theodora or Laura if you wish to use a card.
What the café means to our community

“Meeting people keeps your mind active, it’s good for my mental health.” – M
“Seeing new faces and having a chat – I also really enjoy the soup.”
“You get a warm welcome, it’s so welcoming and good food too. It has led to new friendships.” – P
