A very wet and miserable Friday afternoon proved the perfect excuse to hide out in our Small Hall and get sewing! The Draught Excluder Workshop on 1 March 2024 was a free community event facilitated by Traid in partnership with the London Borough of Haringey.
Participants learnt how to sew their own draught excluder with Traid using re-using second-hand fabrics and textiles to help keep the heat in. (Yes, a trouser leg makes a perfect, chunky ‘door sausage’ to keep out those chilly draughts!)
